The ring, designed and made by Gerry, is a symbiosis of ancient culture and contemporary design. The gold and platinum striped shank echoes Tutankhamun’s Heqa Sceptre, while the geometry and setting of the Paraiba evokes the most modern of pyramids.
The trillion-cut Paraiba weighs 8 carats and is set in a platinum rubover setting, surrounded with brilliant cut diamonds, mounted in 18 carat yellow gold, with a platinum and 18 carat yellow gold striped shank. Two brilliant cut diamonds are set beneath the cup of the Paraiba mount; one either side of the shank.
